March 2006: Silky took first place in the first herding trial that she was ever entered in, after only five months of training.
November, 2007: Silky earned her AKC herding championship.  

Along the way she had numerous first and second place finishes as she earned her Started, Intermediate, and Herding Excellent titles while pushing sheep around in competition.
Then she began acquiring championship points, working toward the 15-point total required to earn the covet
